This issue contains three main stories: "Obey the Law," depicting four hoodlums who steal a black bag containing $1,500 in cash and then become trapped in a druggist's window display while trying to retrieve it; "The Mouthpiece," a true crime story about a criminal lawyer's son who testifies against his father in court during a murder trial; and "Crime Fact-Oddities," a short feature by C.H. Moore describing unusual criminal punishments and practices, including Chinese punishment boards and the case of "Slick Sam," a repeat offender arrested 137 times for minor crimes.
