Crime and Punishment #45
This issue contains two crime stories. The first, "True Criminal Case Histories," involves a murder case in which a wounded U.S. Army dancer named Costa is mistakenly identified as the killer of Lieutenant Wilson and sought by crime boss Harmon, who needs Wilson's patent. A private detective named Rocky Weyns uncovers the truth—that Harmon himself ordered Wilson's murder and used supernatural tricks to frame Costa into confessing. The second story follows a con artist named Paul who manipulates a case involving a woman named Runny Blunden and a murder suspect named Rudy, attempting to frame an innocent man while pursuing a heist and evading the actual criminals involved in the scheme.
