Crime and Punishment #46 (1952) This issue contains two true crime stories. "Crime and Punishment" follows a man who attempts to flee with stolen jewelry after a party is interrupted by police, leading to a violent confrontation and his eventual capture. "King of the Laundry Racket" depicts Johnny Danish, the biggest laundry racketeer in crime, who runs a protection scheme extorting money from laundry shop owners; when police raid his operation, Danish is shot and killed trying to escape.
