Crime and Punishment #51
This anthology issue contains two crime stories: "Brother Rats," a true crime history of the Trombolli Brothers' murderous scheme involving a Southern Pacific passenger train in 1923, where mail clerk Bud O'Brien discovers their plot to rob the train through a tunnel; and an untitled story featuring Mike Pollard and his men who intercept a rum runner's shipment on the frozen Chicago River, only to be outsmarted when the criminals use the rats in the hold to create chaos and escape with the liquor aboard the ship Ellen.
