Crime and Punishment #56 (November 1952) This issue contains two true crime stories. "Baby Face" Benson tells of a handsome criminal who uses his good looks to mask his murderous nature, committing multiple killings until he is finally cornered by police and forced to surrender. The second story, "Crime and Punishment," features Louie the Punk, a small-time gangster whose criminal activities spiral when he becomes involved with a gang led by Rat Fleck planning a truck heist on Greendale Turnpike. After the job goes wrong and they kill bystanders, Louie's attempts to enjoy his share of the money are complicated by internal gang strife and betrayal, ultimately leading to his arrest.
