Crime and Punishment #73

This issue contains two stories: "Tinhorns Fixed the Fight" depicts a boxing match fixed by criminals, with gangsters betting a million dollars on the outcome, while a police dog helps officers track down the perpetrators after the beat goes quiet for weeks. The second story follows Eddie Jackson, a youth tempted by gang life who initially hangs around with toughs but eventually learns his lesson through a beating, leading police to use a police dog to identify the gang members involved in the assault. A third story features an understudied theater actress competing with the star for a lead role, with the director ultimately deciding to replace both the star and understudy when unable to choose between them.
