Moore presents historical and cautionary facts, including Samuel Colt's invention of the revolver, a U.S. Army sound weapon discovery, legal consequences for various crimes, and the importance of law study and safety. "Plague of Paris" recounts how a criminal in Paris murdered wantonly, measuring human life by a yardstick of coin to satisfy his greed-driven compulsion, leading authorities to investigate the criminal mind and its motivations.
