Crime Detective Comics v1 #3

This is an anthology issue featuring at least two stories. The first story depicts a fraud scheme involving a man named Ponzi who swindles investors through a bogus investment operation, promising returns on borrowed money; detectives and gendarmes eventually expose and arrest him, and he is sentenced to seven years in prison in 1927. The second story, titled "Out of Season," involves a husband repeatedly nagging his wife to cut the grass, which she procrastinates on until winter arrives, at which point he must use a snow shovel instead—a comedic domestic tale illustrating the consequences of delay.
