Crime Detective Comics v1 #8

This anthology issue contains two crime stories. The second story, "The Book of Life," features Ed Parsons, a professor who documents unusual occurrences in his journal; when he witnesses a woman being robbed and assaulted, he records the incident, but his account becomes crucial evidence in solving the crime and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
