Crime Does Not Pay #130

"The Blind Gunman" follows a criminal named Homer Beloux who attempts an elaborate jewel heist scheme involving two accomplices posing as authorities at a prison. After successfully stealing diamonds through deception and manipulation, Beloux's plans unravel when his female accomplice Meg falls for an honest man named Johnny, whose friendship she values more than the stolen money. The story climaxes with Beloux and his remaining partners planning to intercept Johnny and steal back the diamonds Meg has given him, but their criminal enterprise ultimately fails as law enforcement closes in on the operation.
