This anthology issue contains two crime stories. The first, "Elroy Benette," follows a criminal who attempts to escape police pursuit but is ultimately caught after a violent chase. The second story, "Nicky, the Hustler," details a con artist and his partner Turino who set up an elaborate scheme at a hotel convention, using women to lure victims in a card-game swindle, though Nicky becomes suspicious of Turino's trustworthiness when he notices something wrong with his innocent appearance.
