The issue also features "Darn These Guillotines," a factual feature detailing historical executions where condemned prisoners miraculously survived their sentences, including the story of a Mexican revolutionary who survived a firing squad in 1915 and a Costa Rican political figure whose execution bullets all missed their mark.
