This anthology issue contains two crime stories. "Dixie Davis Lived Like a King on Gangdom's Millions—Until..." chronicles how Dixie Davis, who had dreams of establishing a legitimate legal practice out West, becomes entangled with organized crime and is eventually arrested and imprisoned, where he reflects on how his criminal associates have abandoned him. "The Mail-Box Thief" details Walter Lee Bonville's scheme to steal mail from apartment buildings using bogus checks, waiting for mail delivery at expensive residences and intercepting letters to commit fraud until his criminal enterprise is exposed.
