This anthology issue contains two stories. "Pepsi the Pepsi-Cola Cop" is a comedic tale featuring a horse named Pepsi who solves a racetrack crime by identifying which horses were doped, leading to the arrest of the criminals and earning the horse recognition as a hero. The second story follows Frank Egan and Joe Doran, two criminals who murder Mrs. Hughes during an insurance scam robbery; after they are caught by police and brought to trial, their fellow criminal Doran confesses, resulting in both men being sentenced to life imprisonment.
