This anthology issue contains "The Murder Cycle," in which business owner Jack Greenlaw attempts to bribe a traffic cop with ten thousand dollars but later murders the officer when he suspects the cop will spend the money and draw police attention; Jack then plots to kill his former partner Willie Cervelitz, the only other witness to his first crime, by luring him to his house and shooting him. The issue also features "Manhunt," depicting the escape of two condemned killers, Walter Lance and Tony Grado, from state prison as they flee through the wilderness pursued by authorities and hunting dogs.
