Crime Incorporated #3
"Crime, Incorporated" #3 is an anthology featuring two stories. "Escape from the Rock" depicts a convict's desperate two-day flight from a coastal cave hideout after escaping capture, enduring harsh tidal conditions and starvation before crawling back to prison, where he and two fellow escapees face failure and a battering sentence. "Symphony of Death" presents a text story about conductor Jonathan Leonard's strained relationship with his ambitious son Ralph, who yearns to conduct his own symphony despite his father's controlling insistence on monopolizing the musical world. A third story, illustrated and untitled in the visible pages, follows detectives investigating a taxi driver's shooting, with a con artist named Dick Hammer planning to frame the injured victim and stage a fake drunken assault to manipulate the investigation.
