"Sinister Brother-Act" chronicles how the Hammer brothers, Joe and Louis, became notorious criminals over twenty-five years ago in New York. When Joe and his accomplice are caught hijacking a freight train, Joe shoots his partner to avoid splitting the loot, then hides the money and flees. After evading police pursuit through the countryside, Joe eventually hides out at a dock and encounters Floyd, a dockworker, whom he tricks into helping him. When police close in and Floyd realizes Joe's criminal nature, Joe shoots him in a struggle; Floyd survives and later testifies against Joe, leading to his arrest and conviction.
