This anthology issue contains two crime stories. "The Strangler" features a man who escapes police and encounters a woman in a basement, where he kills her with his bare hands after she discovers his identity. "Dance of the Devil" follows Matt Clark, a private eye and school friend of ballet dancer Paul Branton, who attends the premiere of Paul's new show and becomes entangled in a mystery involving Paul's fiancée Loretta Blaine and a photograph of Paul's ex-wife Dale.
