This anthology collection contains two distinct stories. The first, "Mirogo," follows hunters who discover a baby elephant in the African wilderness and attempt to protect it from a charging mother elephant and other dangers in the savanna. The second story centers on Wilson, a racing driver whose car crashes during a competition; he is subsequently rescued and encounters what appears to be supernatural or ghostly occurrences at an old cottage, involving mysterious manuscripts, spectral figures, and warnings about evil spirits haunting the location.
