The Dalton Boys, wanted for murder, stage an ambush on a Wells Fargo stagecoach to steal a treasure box. Black Bart, hiding beneath the coach's floorboards, commandeers the vehicle and successfully retrieves the strongbox, but is later confronted by the gang. A conflict erupts when Red Busher attempts to muscle in on the stolen money, leading to a violent confrontation between Planter and Busher over control of the criminal enterprise, with threats of murder and sabotage exchanged between the rival criminals.
