Danger #12

An Allied military operation destroys a strategic bridge in enemy territory, killing most of the soldiers involved, but Major Morris survives and embarks on a dangerous journey behind enemy lines. Morris encounters Zara, a partisan operative, and together they work to evade German patrols and reach safety, with Morris eventually discovering that a planned defensive garrison movement has been relocated, complicating the tactical situation. The story concludes with Morris rescued by an American airfield and the successful completion of his covert mission.
