A military operation to destroy a strategic bridge results in the successful liberation of an occupied territory. Major Morris leads soldiers through enemy lines and encounters various resistance members, including a woman named Sophia and allies such as Zara and Bruga. After accomplishing the bridge's destruction and saving American lives, the major is awarded the Silver Star for his heroic action in what is described as an almost impossible mission.
