The issue contains two adventure stories featuring characters facing dangerous situations. "Deep Seas and Devil Rays" depicts deep-sea diver Steve North battling against a loose crane threatening to rupture the hull of a steamer in treacherous Atlantic waters in May 1938, racing to prevent catastrophic damage to the ship.
