Dark Mysteries #5

Dark Mysteries #5 is an anthology of horror and suspense tales. "Horror of the Ghostly Crew" depicts a young man's encounter with a skeleton and mysterious figures who warn him that a sunken ship's crew has been dead for years and that he is destined to be their captain. "Terror of the Cat Men" follows engineer Steve Hannan, who attends the funeral of Georgette Hines after her death in an automobile accident; he later encounters a woman and cat-men creatures, and becomes entangled in a sinister plot involving a rival named Mr. Collier who attempts to manipulate Karen (presumably Georgette's relative) into marriage by offering her a better life and presenting her with mysterious gifts at a local fair.
