Davy Crockett #nn

The Creek Rebellion Davy Crockett encounters a dangerous grizzly bear while hunting and is forced to kill it in self-defense, though he regrets having to do so. Later, feeling restless, Davy decides to sell staves down the Mississippi River with his companion Lizbeth. During a military expedition to the Alamo, Davy and his men engage Mexican forces in battle, successfully driving them back with gunfire and cavalry charges. The story concludes with Davy meeting with Native American leaders who express their concerns about white settlers encroaching on their lands and breaking peace agreements.
