Dennis the Menace #39

Dennis the Menace uses a toy gun to play cowboys and robbers with a friend, pretending to kill a bear. In "The Spell of Danger," Jimmy Lyons struggles with his spelling homework until his father brings home an envelope full of cash as a raise. While celebrating at a restaurant, the family witnesses what appears to be a holdup when three men in masks enter and demand money, though it turns out to be a ruse. In another story, Dennis meets a girl named Gina who speaks Italian, and they attempt to communicate across a language barrier while playing together in the dirt.
