A fantasy adventure involving King Garol and a green dragon unfolds, in which the king seeks a formula from the sea water to aid in his conquest, while a dragon and its octopus companion present obstacles; the green dragon's figure ultimately vanishes as an octopus takes form, and the narrative suggests a confrontation between the king's forces and a mysterious beast.
