Don Winslow of the Navy #14

Don Winslow and Captain Red Pennington, specialists of the Marine Corps, are assigned to escort press correspondents to Tawaki Island, recently captured from the Japanese at great cost. While investigating a mysterious Nazi officer's cap found on the island, they discover evidence of a Nazi tunnel being dug beneath the English Channel to support an invasion. Don works with the British Navy to devise a plan involving a helicopter-based commando raid against Norwegian guerrillas who have been aiding the Nazis, with the goal of reaching the hidden hideout in the Norwegian coastal mountains where the patriots have retreated.
