After successfully evading Nazi attacks and completing his mission, Winslow meets with a superior who explains he will work on tactical problems, including PT boat operations in the river. The issue also contains a humorous backup story about two sailors, Joe and a partner, who spend five hours pushing and shoving to get a white elephant aboard ship, only to discover it was a fake—costing them $2,000 in peanuts—resulting in their partnership dissolving over the payout of their losses.
