Dragstrip Hotrodders [Drag-Strip Hotrodders] #8

A young man named Matti works at Mr. Lohmer's speed shop and dreams of becoming an engineer; he becomes interested in drag racing after visiting the drag strip with a friend and decides to build a high-performance engine. After installing a full racing cam, stiff valve springs, and other upgrades, Matti tests his red hot rod at the drag strip, where it reaches 118 miles per hour. The issue also features the stories "Snake Bite" and "Golden Goose."
