Durango Kid #19

The Durango Kid uncovers a plot by the unscrupulous timber baron Leslie O'Malley to monopolize the logging industry by undercutting competitors' prices and squeezing out smaller operators. After infiltrating O'Malley's organization, Steve Brand (the Durango Kid) takes a job at a logging camp to gather evidence and stop the scheme. When O'Malley's tactics threaten to destroy independent loggers like Cowman, the Durango Kid confronts the villain and busts up his operation, restoring fair competition to the timber trade.
