Durango Kid #6

In this story, the Durango Kid discovers that Steve Brand, a man he knows, has been accused of being the Durango Kid himself. After clearing up the confusion about his true identity, the Kid becomes involved with a mysterious foundling baby whose parents are unknown. The story shifts to a cabin where settlers Jeremiah Deakin and his wife harbor the child, eventually meeting a Frenchman named Pierre Bateau who seeks shelter. As tensions mount and Pierre's true intentions become questionable, the Durango Kid must unravel the mystery surrounding the baby's origins while contending with Bateau's schemes, leading to a confrontation in the snow-covered frontier landscape.
