Egbert takes flying lessons from a Count who plays music, but the lessons go awry when a rodeo comes to town featuring a Western long-horned beetle, leading to a chaotic sequence involving a hose, water, and fires. In a separate story titled "Rasputin," Egbert encounters the large character and loses his ring in a cracker jack box, leaving him broke and upset about the cheap prize.
