Egbert and Picklfoot attempt to catch a crook hiding in a safe, leading to a physical confrontation that goes awry. Later, Egbert gets into trouble in a park when he repeatedly violates a "Keep Off the Grass" sign while chasing a baseball, encountering an angry officer. In another sequence, Egbert and Beanie become caught in the mechanisms of an industrial intake, wrapping, and packaging machine, with Mr. Bindle getting kidnapped and processed through the equipment before Egbert and Beanie manage to rescue him.
