Egbert #6

Egbert and his animal companions encounter a intelligent wolf who threatens them unless they surrender a raccoon and pig. The wolf chases them up a cliff, leading Egbert to rig a sky rocket as an escape vehicle, but the plan backfires and he ends up in a fight with an anthropomorphic tomato. Afterward, Egbert prepares lunch for a character named Mr. Bindle and the widow, but Mr. Bindle disappears mysteriously; when Egbert discovers the widow's savings have been found, he realizes Mr. Bindle was a desperate character trying to steal her money, and Egbert must pursue him to return the stolen savings.
