Exciting Comics #61

This anthology issue features "The Black Terror, Nemesis of Crime" as the lead story, in which a couple responds to an advertisement for a muscle-building serum and is scammed by criminals who use the fake product as cover for a robbery scheme. A second story follows a visitor to a ranch house who bonds with a small white dog, but is later separated from the animal when circumstances force him to leave; the story ends with the dog's new owners caring for it affectionately. The issue concludes with "Junior Judo," an action sequence in which a young boy named Junior uses judo techniques to defeat two larger opponents in combat, with a preview promising more Junior Judo stories in the next issue.
