This issue contains two stories. "From Police Files" depicts the capture of criminal Harry Wells, who engages police in a high-speed chase across Texas at over 95 miles per hour before being cornered at his hideout near Gladwater; Wells receives a 99-year sentence for train robberies and an additional 50-year sentence for bank robbery. "Famous Crimes" recounts the story of Scarnici, a gang leader whose organization commits armed robberies, with the tale culminating when Scarnici is cornered by police and shot while attempting to escape, becoming a victim of his own criminal enterprise.
