This issue presents multiple crime stories drawn from police files. "From Police Files" depicts FBI agents confronting a criminal named Henry Lee Victor, who has kidnapped two girls and demands ransom money; Victor is ultimately caught and sentenced to ten years at Leavenworth, where he dies from an infection caused by the gloved hand used in his brother's murder. A second story titled "Famous Crimes" follows three kidnappers—Frank, Charlie, and a third associate—who abduct children and demand ransom; after a failed ransom exchange and police intervention, the criminals are apprehended and face justice. A third narrative, "From Police Files," recounts the theft and burglary crimes of Gabriel Corey and Joe Cutter, who steal jewelry and loot from apartments before being caught by police.
