Famous Crimes #19
Famous Crimes #19 This issue contains at least two crime stories. The first follows Dutch Schultz, an underworld racket operator who refuses to turn over his policy operations to crime boss Lulu Benz. When Schultz fails to comply with Benz's demands and attempts to eliminate him, Schultz is killed in a Newark hospital, ending his criminal reign. The second story details the crimes of Lee Gillon, who terrorized a town and murdered the Jonson family, and the investigation that followed, including the mysterious disappearance of criminal "Ponzi," a con artist from the 1920s who resurfaces years later in Rio de Janeiro before meeting his end.
