Fantastic Adventures #17

This anthology issue contains two stories. The main feature, "South Sea Girl," follows Alani as she attempts to stop bomb planters threatening her island home using only simple weapons. The backup story, "Old Ironsides," depicts the legendary USS Constitution ship and her crew defending against river pirates and enemy forces. A third story, "Captain Cutlass," written by Jonathan Lee, recounts a crafty moorish monarch's wartime scheme involving his ship and crew to outwit rascals and pursue revenge while protecting his kingdom's fate.
