This anthology issue contains multiple science fiction stories. "The Cosmic Terror" warns space travelers of dangerous meteor showers streaking toward Earth, explaining that while most are harmless matter fragments, those on planets without atmospheres pose constant threats. "Sappo of Saturn in The Beauty Contest" follows Sappo, an errand boy from Saturn, as he travels to Jupiter to judge a universe-wide beauty contest, encountering contestants from various planets including a seductive woman from Mercury and a tree-like creature from Venus. "The Boy Who Saved the World" features young Tommy Jordan discovering what he believes to be a meteor at his favorite fishing spot, only to learn it is actually a rocket containing ugly monsters from another world.
