This anthology issue contains three crime stories: "Lynch Law" follows a bank robber named Ted Sadeyes who attempts to escape a lynching mob by hiding in a barn and ultimately surrenders to the sheriff for protection. "Everett Charles" depicts a man who encounters his doppelgänger on a New York street and becomes increasingly disturbed by the resemblance, eventually deciding to abandon his life. "Baby Face" details the arrest and prosecution of Tommy Carr, a baby-faced bandit and gunman who led a criminal gang spreading terror through Chicago.
