This anthology issue features multiple action-adventure stories set during World War II. The main story, "Bayonets for the Banzai Breed," follows Rip Carson leading American soldiers in a desperate raid to snatch an enemy prize from Japanese forces. Additional features include Señorita Rio, America's daring spy ace, engaged in combat against enemy operatives; Hooks Devlin, a devil-dog detective; and Shark Brodie, a one-man scourge of the Yellow Isles, along with stories starring Chip Collins, Kayo Kirby, and other characters in combat-focused adventures.
