Fight Comics #85

Fight Comics #85 is an anthology featuring multiple military action stories. "Rip Carson" follows a Marine sergeant and his unit as they hold a ridge position against enemy attack, with dialogue dismissing their opponents before coming under heavy bombardment and being forced to retreat. "Attila" depicts the fifth-century Hun leader's invasion of the Roman Empire in 450 A.D., with evil portents in the sky alarming Rome's leadership as Attila's forces cross into Gaul. A third story features "Rip Carson" again as a pilot in a dragon squadron that engages enemy aircraft in aerial combat, successfully downing three enemy MiGs with one pilot capturing two planes from an enemy airfield.
