Fightin' Air Force #27

"A Moving Target" Lt. Burnham, despite being outnumbered, manages to outmaneuver attacking enemy aircraft and safely land his damaged plane. After his successful landing, ground personnel discover that the enemy has been tracking moving targets, and Burnham realizes his fellow pilot Sparks needs immediate air support. A P-51 ground support pilot receives word of Sparks's downed aircraft in enemy territory and, refusing to wait for artillery support, takes off with Marine reinforcements to rescue the crew before enemy forces can destroy them.
