An anthology issue containing two stories: "Jet Aces in Action," featuring Air Force pilots testing a new radio-controlled bomb on enemy targets, with dialogue about the weapon's wavelength and capabilities; and a survival tale in which an Air Force explorer and a colonel are stranded on an uninhabited island, where they construct makeshift tools and signals from coconuts, shells, and palm leaves while awaiting rescue, ultimately being found by an amphibian aircraft. A third story depicts a fire chief coordinating firefighting efforts during an air raid on a city, with equipment and buildings damaged by Nazi bombing raids.
