Fightin' Army #19

A former Japanese soldier who served as an advisor to the U.S. Army during the Korean War recounts his journey to becoming an American citizen. After spending years in the Army learning about American history and values under officers' tutelage, he is given a final assignment to strike at Japanese positions along the border, which he accomplishes successfully. The story chronicles his transition from enemy combatant to proud American serviceman, concluding with his oath to uphold the American flag and laws of the United States as a newly adopted citizen.
