Fightin' Army #23

This issue contains two war stories. "Sniper" depicts American soldiers contending with a Japanese sniper who has perfected the art of concealment and marksmanship during World War II, with soldiers like Mansell working to locate and eliminate the hidden threat. "Dugout Hero" features Sergeant Sam Bruce, a reluctant soldier assigned to weapons platoon duty who prefers to avoid combat, but is forced into action when ordered by his commanding officer to lead men against enemy tiger tanks during battle.
