An anthology of military combat tales featuring "Rip Snorting Combat Tales." One story depicts soldiers in combat, with L Company enduring repeated casualties and attacks while confronting an enemy mortar battery positioned on a hill, and later encountering a Soviet officer named Muntz who interrogates prisoners about troop movements and concentrations. Another story follows a soldier assigned to Legion duty at an attaché's office, where he uncovers an anti-American spy ring operating from within the legation and works to expose the plot and arrest the perpetrators.
