This anthology issue contains two distinct stories. "The Last Attack!" depicts American soldiers on German soil in March 1945, where Captain Slade leads a rifle company in an unauthorized assault on Nazi positions despite orders to wait for division artillery support, resulting in heavy casualties among his men. The second story, "Cheyenne Kid," follows a character named Fun as he visits Pop's ranch, where Pop takes the kids on a Western outing complete with cowboy outfits and horseback riding before they return home happy.
